More About B.J. Thompson, aka MsBurb

B. J. Thompson was born in 1964, in the lake country district of southern Ontario, Canada, to an RCMP Constable Father and Industrial Accountant Mother, an only child, who grew up very Anglo-Saxon, very Northern Irish. Funeral Wakes were like Olympic events, her first one at age three; hence, Death and the Past seem to be recurring themes throughout her works:

B.J. went on to graduate with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Language Arts with post-graduate work in Public Relations and Marketing, primarily working in the Travel and Broadcasting sectors. Retired now, she does free-lance editing, leads a avant-garde writers group likened after the 1920's Paris Montparnasse District style and continues to write literary novels centring on edgy, rather taboo topics.

Burb's Buck & Buntline Inn is a virtual lounge, it's name - a spoof on the weapons used in the Charles Manson murders -  is to conjure up the pub-like feel of an Irish watering hole where people get together, imbibe, wag tongues and put to rights the world's woes. Articles include Op-ed takes on today's issues as well as Social Commentary on topics new and old, where maybe a question was left unanswered, that MsBurb is determined to put right!

B.J. is not pop-cultural nor commercial in her approach to her life or her author work, she certainly walks to the beat of a different drummer, but the noise she makes is lasting; the ripple effect, or shall we say the "tremor", long felt.

B.J. invites you to read and offer your thoughts in the Comments Section, positive or negative, as what would a pub evening be without a wee lively conversation?!
